Kevin Durant is happy here

PHOENIX — Virtually the entire offseason was filled with drama surrounding Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant.

Durant, no stranger to trade rumors, has two years remaining on his contract in Phoenix, and this offseason we again saw speculation about his future with the organization.

Recently, Suns CEO Josh Bartelstein appeared on the PHNX Suns podcast and said that Durant is perfectly happy with the team:

“But I think everyone has their heads on straight. He loves it here,” Bartelstein said (h/t Bleacher Report).

“We talk all the time with Rich Kleiman, his partner, about the vision and what we’re building, and everyone is very happy and I think we’re going to have a really good year.

“Kevin is part of every discussion about the team vision, everything we do on and off the court. So the fact that we have all that dialogue is about fairness. If you do those things, everything else will take care of itself.”

Durant just won his fourth gold medal with the United States after a stint in Paris over the summer, and he may maintain some of his spectacular form for the Suns heading into the 2024-25 season with Devin Booker and Bradley Beal by his side.
