Massachusetts gas prices fell from last week – see how much here

State gasoline prices fell for a second straight week, averaging $3.39 a gallon for regular fuel on Monday, down from last week’s price of $3.43 a gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average gas price in the state has fallen about 10 cents since last month. According to the EIA, statewide gas prices over the past year were as low as $3.07 on Jan. 29, 2024, and as high as $3.76 on Aug. 7, 2023.

A year ago, the average price of gasoline in Massachusetts was 9% higher, at $3.74 per gallon.

The average price of gasoline in the United States last week was $3.41, making prices in the state about 0.8% lower than the national average. The national average price of gasoline is lower than last week’s average of $3.45 per gallon.
