Philadelphia Union Expands Services and Announces New Partnership with Onrise

The Philadelphia Union announced today that it has expanded its relationship with Onrise, a leading athlete mental health company. Onrise currently works with Union Academy and Union II to provide mental health services and support. Onrise’s goal is to make mental health services accessible, accessible and affordable. The new agreement extends the parties’ relationship for another year and adds additional mental health support services for Union Academy’s coaching staff.

“The Union is committed to raising mental health awareness at all levels of our organization and continues to prioritize the health and well-being of our players, staff and community,” said Charlie Slonaker, Chief Revenue Officer for the Philadelphia Union. “Partnering with Onrise allows us to further support our athletes throughout the process by providing accessible care and we look forward to working collaboratively with them.”

In addition to providing mental health services, Onrise also becomes a partner of the Philadelphia Union. Providing high-quality mental health care to teams, clubs, leagues and player associations from the youth to collegiate and professional levels, Onrise will present an in-game award, aptly named “Mental Health Champion, presented by Onrise,” at a Union home game. Additionally, they will have signage in the WSFS Bank Sportsplex arena and branded presence on game day on the corner level of the video board.

“Onrise is thrilled to continue supporting Union Academy and Union II while also expanding our relationship with the Union organization,” said Kimberly Quigley, President and CEO of Onrise. “This partnership reflects Union’s commitment to empowering its young athletes to be their best on and off the court by providing mental health support year-round.”
