These are the lanes and ramps that will be closed in the Detroit metropolitan area

Detroit – The summer orange barrel season and non-stop construction will continue to impact drivers in southeast Michigan this weekend.

Some highways, heavily traveled arterial roads and ramps will be closed at varying intervals this weekend in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Some closures are more temporary, while others are expected to last several weeks.

Below is a list of Detroit metro area road closures from August 9-15, provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Road, lane and ramp closures

I-75 in Wayne and Oakland counties:

• Wayne County: NB I-75 at I-375 – Two lanes open. When:Friday, August 10, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Wayne County: The I-75 southbound ramp is closed to I-94 westbound. When:Closed until Monday, August 12 at 8 am

• Oakland County: The EB/WB Grange Hall ramp is closed to NB I-75. When:From 9 pm on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

I-94 in Wayne County:

• Westbound I-94, 75 to M-10, one lane open. When:Until Monday, August 12 at 8 am

I-96 in Wayne County:

• I-96 Local WB is closed from Wyoming to W Outer Dr. When:From 7 pm on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

• WB I-96, Livernois to M-8/Davison, 2 lanes open. When:From 7 pm on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

• The WB I-96 Express ramp to I-96 Local is closed. When:From 7 pm on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

• I-96 westbound local ramps to/from eastbound M-8/Davison, M-5/Schaefer, Greenfield, northbound/southbound Evergreen are closed.

• EB/WB I-96/M-14, Sheldon to Levan, 1 lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• I-96/M-14 westbound ramp to I-275 southbound intermittently closed. When: Saturday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• EB/WB M-14/I-96 ramp to NB I-275, 1 ramp lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

I-275 in Wayne County:

• The I-275 southbound ramp to M-14 westbound is intermittently closed. When: Saturday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• EB/WB I-96/M-14, Sheldon to Levan, 1 lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• I-96/M-14 westbound ramp to I-275 southbound intermittently closed. When: Saturday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• EB/WB M-14/I-96 ramp to NB I-275, 1 ramp lane open. When: Saturday, August 10, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

I-375 in Wayne County:

• The SB I-375 ramp is closed intermittently in Larned. When:9am to 3pm Monday 12th August through the end of August.

I-696 in Oakland County:

• NB Coolidge closed at I-696. When:From 9 am on Monday, August 12 to 3 pm on Thursday, August 15.

M-1 (Woodward Avenue):

• Oakland County:NB M-1/Woodward, South Blvd to Auburn Ave, 1 lane open. When:From 9 am on Monday, August 12 to 3 pm on Wednesday, August 14.

• Wayne County:SB M-1/Woodward, Calvert St to Chicago, 2 lanes open. When: 7 am Monday, August 12 until the end of August.

M-3 (Gratiot Avenue):

• Macomb County:SB M-3, Toepfer to 10 Mile, two lanes open. When:9am to 3pm, Friday, August 9th through the end of August.

M-10 in Wayne County:

• NB M-10 ramp closed to EB 94. When:Daily from 9am to 3pm until mid-August.

M-24 in Oakland County:

• The WB M-24/Lapeer connector ramp is closed to NB I-75. When:From 6:30 am to 4 pm on Saturday, August 10.

M-39 (Southfield) in Wayne County:

• The NB/SB M-39 ramps are closed to WB I-96. When:From 7 pm on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

• NB M-39, I-94 to M-153/Ford Rd, 1 lane open. When:5 am on Friday, August 9th until the end of August.

• The NB M-39 ramp is closed to US-12/Michigan. When:From 5 am on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

• NB M-39 Service Drive closed from Village Rd to Hubbard. When:From 5 am on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

M-53: (Van Dyke) in Macomb County:

• NB M-53 at Van Dyke Local Parkway, 2 lanes open. When:From 6 am to 3 pm on Sunday, August 11.

M-59: (Hall) in Macomb County:

• WB M-59 at Garfield Rd, 2 lanes open. When:9am to 3pm Monday 12th August through the end of August.

M-85 (Fort Street) in Wayne County:

• M-85, King Rd to Harrison, 1 lane open. When:From 4 am to 8 pm on Monday, August 12.

M-102 (eight miles) in Wayne County:

• EB M-102, Meyers to Livonia, 3 lanes open. When:From 7 am on Friday, August 9 to 3 pm on Tuesday, August 13.

M-153 (Ford Rd) in Wayne County:

• WB M-153/Ford Ramp closed to Greenfield. When: From 3 pm on Friday, August 9th to 4 pm on Saturday, August 10th

• NB/SB Greenfield ramp closed to WB M-153/Ford. When: From 3 pm on Friday, August 9th to 4 pm on Saturday, August 10th

US-12 (Michigan Ave) in Wayne County:

• The EB/WB US-12/Michigan ramps are closed to NB M-39/Southfield. When:From 5 am on Friday, August 9 to 5 am on Monday, August 12.

US-24 (Telegraph) in Oakland County:

• SB US-24 at Square Lake Rd, 3 lanes open. When:From 7 am on Monday, August 12 to 3 pm on Wednesday, August 14.
