CONWAY, Pa. (KDKA) — It was a scary scene in Beaver County on Saturday as several fire and EMS crews were called to southbound Interstate 65 after a steel beam crashed through a tractor-trailer.

The call came in around noon and closed the section of highway near 16th Street after the steel beam pierced the truck’s cab, trapping the driver inside.

First responders were able to reach the driver and quickly take him to the hospital for treatment.

His condition is unknown at this time.

Police are investigating the incident.
