Miami-Dade County Public Schools remains an A-rated school district

The Florida Department of Education recently released school grades for the 2023-24 school year and Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is once again an “A” rated district.

Below is a summary of Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ 2023-2024 school performance ratings:
• For the fifth consecutive year, M-DCPS has achieved a district grade of “A.”
• M-DCPS ranked eighth out of 67 districts in the state, based on the total number of points earned toward the district’s rating.
• Overall, 99 percent of M-DCPS schools received school grades of A, B, or C in 2024:
• 54 percent received A grades.
• 28 percent earned B grades.
• 17 percent received grades of C.

“This shows that we have a consistent record of excellence in our school district as a result of the incredible work of our students, teachers, support staff, school leaders, and district leaders. And this is what we owe to our community: highly rated schools and the best educational opportunities possible. We are the best choice,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. José L. Dotres.
