Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick explains Hurricane Beryl utility failure, response

AUSTIN, Texas (KLTV) – Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick discussed this week’s meeting in the Texas Senate on the Hurricane and Tropical Storm Preparedness, Recovery, and Electricity Committee.

In a statement earlier this week, his office called for Houston-based energy company CenterPoint to pay $800 million he says they improperly used from ratepayers.
