Man killed by train in Jacksonville | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

A man was killed when he was struck by a train in Jacksonville on Thursday night, police said Friday.

According to a Jacksonville Police news release, police responded to the 400 block of South Spring Street at 7:50 p.m. in response to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a train and found Jimmy Flennoy of Jacksonville dead on the tracks.

Union Pacific responded to the scene along with Jacksonville detectives, the statement said. An investigation is ongoing, the statement said.
