Woman found dead in Jacksonville's west side lot

JACKSONVILLE, Florida. – A concerned citizen called police and said she saw a dead woman in a lot on the Westside Saturday at 7:30 a.m., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue searched the 1700 block of Picketville Road and found the woman dead in the parking lot.

Investigators said the circumstances of the incident are unknown.
